Privacy at Atsets
Website and Atsets Application Assistant extension · Updated October 6, 2026
Website information we process
Atsets processes searches and filters needed to return jobs. Saved browser data stays in your browser unless you sign in and choose to connect it to your account. Accounts, signed-in saved data, and application tracking use Clerk and Cloudflare. Application tracking stores the job, status, relevant dates, and any notes you choose to add.
Referral requests share your name, verified email, optional LinkedIn profile, message and CV with the employee you choose. CVs are processed by Cloudmersive for malware scanning and stored privately in Cloudflare R2. Unsubmitted uploads are removed after one day. Submitted CVs are removed 90 days after referral closure, or after one year if unresolved; you can delete them earlier. Pausing optional application progress retains your last shared status. Removing shared information removes future access in Atsets but cannot recall previously downloaded or employer-submitted copies. Referral views and sharing actions are measured without including CV contents or contact details in aggregate metrics.
Email alerts use Resend. Google Analytics provides aggregated product usage data.
Atsets also keeps daily search-usage counters for 90 days: filter types, fixed country/region/seniority/work-arrangement choices, combinations, result-size groups, and company-filter loading times and errors. These counters do not store typed keywords, arbitrary location text, company names, account identifiers or IP addresses. Search-usage reporting respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting.
Your website choices
You can use job search without an account, delete browser-saved items, remove application records, manage or unsubscribe from every alert, and delete saved account data through the product. Feedback may include an optional email address and basic browser information so we can investigate a report.
Job data and employers
Job postings come from employers’ public applicant-tracking systems. Applying takes you to the employer or ATS, whose own privacy policy applies. Atsets records Started when a signed-in user follows an Apply link. You can update the status yourself; the optional extension can record Applied after detecting an explicit submission confirmation. Detection can miss a submission and does not track later hiring decisions.
Atsets Application Assistant extension
The optional Chrome extension helps fill application forms and track applications. Your reusable profile—name, email, phone and country code, location, current company, and profile links—is stored in Chrome local storage on this browser. It is not uploaded to Atsets as a profile. When you choose Fill empty fields, selected details are inserted into the employer’s form. The employer or ATS may receive those details, including before submission, under its own policy. The extension does not submit applications, upload a CV, or accept legal consents for you.
After your action, the extension uses the current job URL, job identity, form labels and submission-confirmation text to fill fields and recognize progress. It uses active-tab access and optional permissions for specific employer/ATS origins; Comeet may need permission for its application frame. Eightfold custom domains are checked against the Atsets catalog before access is requested. The manifest declares optional HTTPS access to support these domains, but the extension requests individual origins. It does not read your mailbox or use the browser-history API.
When you connect your Atsets account, you sign in on the Atsets website using Clerk and manually confirm a one-use connection code. The extension stores an account identifier, account label (which may include your email), and a scoped access credential locally. Atsets stores a hash of that credential, the linked account and its expiry/revocation information. Pairing requests expire after 10 minutes; access credentials expire after 30 days and can be revoked earlier through the extension or Atsets extension-access page.
For account sync, the extension sends job identifiers/URLs, Started or Applied events, source, timestamps and event identifiers to Atsets, hosted on Cloudflare. It receives matching job details and your application status. It does not retrieve your private application notes. Submission observation is limited to a 30-minute window after using the application tools and looks for explicit confirmation; it does not infer interviews, rejection or offers. Existing later statuses and referral-sharing choices are preserved.
Profile data, local application records, detection state and a bounded retry queue remain in browser storage. Switching accounts clears account-bound caches and queued events so they cannot sync to another account. Unmatched jobs remain local; public job resolution may send the job URL to Atsets, and SmartRecruiters matching may query its public posting API without candidate details or credentials.
Clear the reusable profile with the extension’s profile controls or remove the extension to remove its local storage. Disconnect or revoke access to stop future account sync. These actions do not delete applications already saved to Atsets: remove those records or saved account data through Atsets. Application evidence follows its parent application record when it is deleted. Expired or revoked credentials are cleaned up when a new pairing starts. Employer-held information must be managed with the employer.
The extension has no advertising, data-sale, mailbox connection or extension analytics feature. Its use and transfer of information are limited to providing the described form-filling, account connection and application-tracking features. The website’s analytics and other services described above are separate from extension data handling.
Privacy questions and data requests
While Atsets is in beta, use Send feedback for privacy questions or data requests. An email address is optional, but provide one if you want a reply. The form also records the page and basic browser information to investigate reports. No account is required.
